Luminosity Beach Festival held its 4th event in Zandvoort. I Was waiting for this weekend for many weeks & finally the moment came when everything looked perfect for this beach life to start – beautiful weather, palm trees, people from over 50+ countries, delicious cocktails and this sick line-up dwarfed the other previous events I have been to (ASOT 500, Full on Ferry, Trance Energy, etc).
There were two area’s/stages each day. Here are some names who were playing on the first day Saturday: DJ Eco, Juventa, Ummet Ozcan, Marcel Woods, Leon Bolier, Roger Shah, Andy Moor, Lange, W&W and Simon Patterson. The talent in that line-up was for everybody to see & listen most of the Dj’s were dropping many new tracks and classics as well – pure eargasm for all of us.
When Andy Moor was playing “Punk (Arty Rock-n-Rolla mix)” the crowd was holding their hands up in the sky and started to sing with the beat “dadadada dadadada” – we got sunk with punk, musical vibes & energy at its best.
Every time I hear W&W live they make me go crazy with the pumping beats of AK-47. Keep the feeling, hold on to it – feel the music – Simon Patterson in control – hands to the sky for his closing set we all know that he kills it when he plays his tunes. Oh the feeling to be in a state of trance is something different – get connected if you guys aren’t still. I can’t wait to see him again here in the Netherlands to be in this state \o/ & also can’t miss out my Turk-Ummet.
High on musical vibes on the first day and got injected with more energy when the thought of the second day line-up came to my mind – can’t stop saying to myself, bring it on LUMI. Excited to the core – for the fact that will be seeing the dj’s whom I haven’t earlier. Likes of Tempo Giusto, M.I.K.E. Push, Signum, Manuel le Saux, Sebastian Brandt, Ferry Tayle, Sied van Riel and Sean Tyas.
Magical air all around, the day started with Tempo Giusto – instant like for him. I really wanted to hear the hard beats in the afternoon and didn’t have to wait till the evening, M.I.K.E. Push, Signum and Manuel le Saux took it to a different zone. All day long I was waiting to see Sebastian Brandt on stage to hear him play my favourite track “Ashes” – finally the wait was over the Brand-Brandt came & took control of the console. He carried the energy through his entire set, playing track after track that was taking me to a musical high. Finally when he started playing “Ashes” I was being over whelmed with emotions, beat taking control over me and for a few moments it left me breathless. Thank you Sebastian Brandt for making this amazing track! With musical emotions running high – I found myself on top of a barrel dancing with the amazing view of the crowd & the man who was keeping the heavy beats coming for me to do that – give it up for Sied van Riel. The Luminosity night at Beachclub Riche closed with Sean Tyas, was happy to meet him before his set. The guy is not only nice but he plays too – tunes like “Blue Monday (Kent & Gian Deconstruction mix)”, “Heart to Heart (Sean Tyas mix)” & the perfect set ended the night – beach life for me & others.
This was my first Luminosity Beach Festival and now I’m already thinking of the next one. Met some wonderful amazing #trancefamily hearts – new & old one from countries like UK, Belgium, USA ,etc. It proved once again that love for this religion called “One Sound – One Love – One Community” unites this family the best. Proud to be following this #trancefamily religion, many thanks to Bo, Otto & others from Luminosity who made this possible for all of us to Live this Luminosity Life – Live it to get addicted.
