During its first two editions, the BIG festival brought together all public and all the trends of modern music’s most prestigious sites of Biarritz. Voluntary, the OIG has seen great festival and got it right. Far from establishing itself as an excessive production machine, BIG is the opinion of the media and the public, managed to combine a great ambition event while promoting a spirit of celebration spontaneous and uninhibited. After the success of the first two editions, the Biarritz International Festival Groove returns this summer in the South West and offers a place of life for all. The programming of the third edition continues to maintain a sincere desire to offer in the Basque country a visit of discovery
THE CONCEPT :
The BIG Day
• THE BIG VILLAGE •
Facing the sea on one of the most beautiful sites of Biarritz, the Basque coast. For the appointment of the day from 12 am to 21H, aperitifs, lunches, workshops, ladétente. The place to meet our partners and the media. It is the focal point of the public, the most legendary surf spot of côtebasque, which can raise up to 10,000 people a day.
The Big Night
Like the major international music festivals, BIG invests a unique and dress codes of its graphics and its spirit of celebration and fun. Spaces and two light paths that the festival will travel on foot to move from one room to another. The BIG Night also highlights food and local products.
BIG LIVE
Live music in two rooms cults of the city: Halle Iraty (5000 people) and Atabal (700 people) from 20h.
THE BIG CLUBBING
This year’s party night of the festival expands to offer night owls reception conditions more optimal. From midnight until dawn turns into the Atabal Atabal the Disco Club.
