German based Dennis Sheperd is back with an absolute bomb of a track released on the ever consistent ‘Progressive Enhanced’imprint. A real summery tune here from the man that just doesn’t produce bad records. There is a nice progressive vibe to this track throughout and somehow the clever use of different sounds and effects throughout give it that peak time club feel. A chunky bassline, nice use of synths and an uplifting melody that send your emotions running wild throughout give this track a tick in every box. The part of the track that really completes it for me is that of the vocal sample that is used rarely but effectively. What sounds like a very tribal/aboriginee style vocal hits you before the track comes out of the break adding to that emotional feel of the track. The breakdown contains a nice sound for the pluck and the delay used during the time of hearing that sound is outstanding. This track is perfect if you’re simply on a train journey listening to your iPod and staring in to the distance or at the club dancing!! Fantastic tune from Dennis Sheperd and I doubt it will be long before we hear another great track from him! This tune just makes you want to smile and that’s what music should be about. That’s why it gets my VMM recommended tune for June!
