VMM Interviews Ben Alonzi from Leicester UK, DJ Producer and Nu Communicate Recordings label owner. Ben is taking the international trance seen by storm with his euphoric trance productions and energetic DJ sets and the launch of his Trance imprint Nu Communicate Recordings.This exciting new trance DJ getting huge support for his label Nu Communicate by many of the world’s best Trance DJ’s with regular inclusions on radio play lists by Aly & Fila ,Manuel Le Saux, Andy Moor and Suzy Solar Also the Nu Communicate Recordings artist roster is expanding every month with highly talented new up and coming names from around the world like Active Limbic System, Mindful Innovations, Baltic 7 and Adriz showing their sound through this new fresh label. We speak to Ben to find out what’s happening for Nu Communicate in the coming months and what new music we can expect to hit the download stores this Summer!

VMM Q: Ben can you tell the VMM a little history about the Nu Communicate Recordings label?
Ben Alonzi: Being evolved in music, the other aspect is that it’s a business and exciting one at that, setting up Nu Communicate took a lot of thought and preparation in order to broaden a wider picture in what I was wanting Nu Communicate to be about.. The aims for nu Communicate is to help support and drive forward all up and coming talents trying to push through the ranks. Nu Communicate Recordings is a Ltd company label as a whole so it offers full support and respect for artists wanting to release their productions. The music style for Nu Communicate is mainly uplifting euphoric trance but let that not be said that if a productions is received and it has an element of spark, something different and well produced, there is always room for something different. Nu communicate I feel is also exciting for New artists as they have the backing of myself through the label in order to have their own artists page on the site providing viewers with their background and information of what an individual artists is about. The main goal for the label Is to be a well respected label within the industry.
VMM Q: Can you tell the VMM about some of the artists that you have currently signed to your Nu Communicate Recordings?
Ben Alonzi: Nu Communicate Is growing bigger and better by the day gaining massive support throughout the scene to date, I Currently at present have some talented artists such as Marek Lenkiewicz aka “7 Baltic”, Active Limbic System, Adriz, Anguilla Project, Darren Porter, Estigma, Haig & Raffi, Mindful Innovations, Tech Trek, Reorder + many more
VMM Q: For the new listener just discovering Nu Communicate Recordings for the first time can you describe the labels different sounds in a few words, and what genres do you feel fit your label imprints best?
Ben Alonzi: Nu Communicate Recordings is a label wanting to push the rising talents of pure uplifting trance music, with superb productions supported with amazing euphoric sounds, it’s a label wanting to push its way through the ranks within the dance scene. Its main aim is to pick up rising talents in the industry not yet discovered by labels to date.
VMM Q: Can you tell the VMM what releases do you have coming out in the coming months on Nu Communicate Recordings?
Ben Alonzi: For the summer of 2011 we have a superb selection of releases due out.

VMM Q: You are Resident DJ at Nu –Passion & Beat Logistics so the VMM would like to ask will you be looking at doing Nu Communicate Recordings Nights at all in the future?
Ben Alonzi: This is something i would hope to look at doing in the near future, having mainly all artists within the label feature on line ups all over the world. Sounds optimistic but, aiming high is always something to strive for. Anything is possible if enough work effort and commitment is in place.
VMM Q: The VMM would like to ask can you tell the budding DJ producer what do you look for in a track that you may decide to sign on Nu Communicate Recordings?
Ben Alonzi: The production has to have a superb euphoric uplifting melody, well produced, with a well produced bass line. A track that will give the edge factor against all the rest of today’s music produced.
