The master of house Eric Prydz returns with a monster remix of this classic Depeche Mode track. Once again something completely different and unique from Prydz that doesn’t sound like anything else I’ve heard this year. He gives the track his own modern interpretation whilst keeping the vocal sounding fresh and atmospheric throughout the record. I’m yet to hear this out on a big system but I’m very sure the punch of the kick and grimey topline would rip through the speakers in any club. I am not usually a fan of Depeche Mode stuff (probably the only dance music fan who isn’t), but this track instantly drew me in. Top record here and it gets my recommended one for this month!
