The VMM speaks once again to the enigmatic dramatic Dutch DJ Producer Marcel Woods about his latest MUSICAL MADNESS epic journey the MUSICAL MADNESS 3 which is to be released on High Contrast Recordings 2011. All who love Marcel Woods wired and wonderful musical tastes will enjoy this new journey packed full of new fresh vibes from some of the worlds incredible production minds including his own. This 18-track musical monster compilation will for sure tap into the musical insane within us all.
THE INTERVIEW:
Hi Marcel great to speak to speak to you here again in the VMM to find out all about your new Musical Madness 3 compilation album.
VMMQ: Marcel the your “Musical Madness “ compilation series is now in it’s 3rd instalment so what can we expect this time for this massive compilation brand?
Marcel: First of all, i’m so happy that it seems that the whole industrie is upside down, Trance House, techno, everything seems to blend together. And that’s something i’m doing for yars, so i’m very excited to drop #3 with a mixture of house, techy, progressive and Trance…. or the new sound called Trouse to make it easier for people to list again…
VMMQ: Can you tell the VMM are your favoreit tracks from your “Musical Madness 3“ that you just love playing out in yor sets and that drive the crowed musical mad?
Marcel: Wippenberg tracks „Phoenix“ and „UR“ are awesome and works everytime i drop it. Also my track called „Questionary“ is pretty cool to play live, and „the monster tune „Don’t Ditch’ is such a stormer. So plenty of big ones on this CD.
VMMQ: Can you tell the VMM what support have you had Marcel from the industry so far for this 3rd instalment of your “Musical Madness 3“ album?
Marcel: I get back so much amazing reports and that i was on track for many years and that things start paying of for being a pioneer on blending music.
VMMQ: Again featured on your “Musical Madness 3“ we see and array of many known DJ Producers and also some newer names so can you tell the VMM who for you Marcel is the new up and coming name to look out for in 2011?
Marcel: Guys as Chris De seed and Tigran Oganezov are on track, they are still trying to find their typical signature sound, but some great productions are delivered by both of them.
VMMQ: Can you tell the VMM have you signed any exclusive tracks to the your “Musical Madness 3“ compilation Marcel that we can look out for on the track list?
Marcel: I’ve got several tracks on it from my label(s) so they are not all released yet, so pretty exclusive so far.
VMMQ: Finally Marcel where the VMM would like to know when can we all buy and download this NEW your “Musical Madness 3“ compilation album?

VMMQ: You have been part of the global dance music industry for a while now Marcel so what still gives you the buzz to keep makeing the music?
Marcel: It’s just awesome and great to do what you love the most, so that’s easy for me to be honest. So the music is what keeps me going…
VMMQ: Can you tell the VMM what is the crazyest ,funnest thing that has happend to you on your DJ travells Marcel that you could class as a Musical Madness moment?
Marcel: Pfoe…. Sorry nothing pop up in my mind so fast.
VMMQ: Marcel you have achived so much over the last few years so can you tell the VMM what more is there to accompish from Marcel Woods what’s next?
Marcel: I’m still leaving the dream by playing my music every week to thousands, so what else can you ask for?!
