Q VMM: The VMM would like to ask what is the ethos behind the 2-Dutch brand?
Marcel Woods 2-dutch:We are a small intimate but very succesfull record company and booking agency, we believe in the strength of the music an artist delivers, and we will guide them with this throughout their career.
Q VMM: Can you also tell the VMM for companies looking to work with 2-Dutch and develop their events what do you aim to offer?
Marcel Woods 2-dutch:We run these 2 big international brands High Contrast and Dutch Master Works, we can deliver a full package with DJ’s related to these brands with some show elements and a full covering of press.
Q VMM: Can you tell the VMM all about the High Contrast Events and where you have already taken the event across the globe to date?
Marcel Woods 2-dutch:We have already did 3 times Trance Energy, Mysteryland, and in 2011 we will expand to Switserland, Zweden, Poland,UK, germany, and probably Australia as well.
Q VMM: Can you tell the VMM what destinations around the globe would you like to see the High Contrast events this year?
Marcel Woods 2-dutch:Wherever promoters believe they have to put on quality events we will happy to provide!
Q VMM: The VMM would like to know will you be showcasing any new up and coming High Contrast artists in the events this year and if can you tell us about them?
Marcel Woods 2-dutch: We will work with all new and upcoming talents on the label, so when they are there, we will push them!
Q VMM : Can you tell the VMM what sort of atmosphere do you look to capture for the High Contrast Events that are different from others Events out there and what do you believe makes an amazing event?
Marcel Woods 2-dutch:The music and nothing else but the music makes an amazing event! The spirit behind the label will be sent out by the artists on that label, so a lot of high Quality music will be sent out by the artists to the dancefloor.
Q VMM: The VMM understands that 2-dutch also manage DMW so can you tell us more about this Event?
Marcel Woods 2-dutch: It’s for the harder sounds of music, last year we took DMW to Dance valley, and Electrocity (Poland) and before we went to Q-base from Q-Dance.
